Heterogeneous Wireless Access

A wireless network that consists of devices using different underlying radio access technology, such as 4G, 5G, WiFi, etc. 5G includes heterogenous wireless access as a native part of the architecture to achieve high throughput and indoor coverage using longer wavelengths.

The richness of the technology used to realize throughput and coverage will make pre-engineering of the network difficult, if not impossible. network operators must monitor performance of use cases that are sensitive to reliability and latency by using tools such as Cheetah Networks PulseView™ Solution.
